"Russians are coming! And this time it is to attend Ascot, Wimbledon and Royal Henley Regatta. It was in the air that everyone wished an exclusive Russian annual event so they can mark it in their diaries for years to come. So the Russian season was born," says Aliona Muchinskaya, director of Red Square Projects, a British-based, Russian-owned PR firm, and the event organiser.
According to the Mayor of London's office, some 300,000 Russians are currently living in London. The likes of Roman Abramovich and Leonid Blavatnik are hardly out of the British headlines, and many other Russian businessmen have moved their families over here enrolling their sons at Eton, buying expensive properties and lavishing their wives and girlfriends with so much money that Harrods and Selfridges have hired Russian-speaking sales assistants to keep their Russian customers happy.
This summer brings with it the third in a spectacular series of summer charity balls organised in aid of Heart for Russia charity by Red Square Projects.
By attending this year's ball, you will have the opportunity to participate in what promises to be one of the biggest and most spectacular events in the Russian social calendar.

A note to the editors:
The charity Apart from benefiting from excellent sponsorship and promotional opportunities and enjoying lavish entertainment on the night, your support for this event will also change the life of each homeless child in St. Petersburg cared for by the charitable organisation 'A Heart for Russia'. The only chance of survival these street children have depends entirely on the ability of the charity to find funding which will go towards the provision of foster homes. As the founder Deborah Miller says, it is through events like these that 'the dream of housing and caring for many abandoned children can become a reality'. The proceeds from the previous two balls were also donated to this charity and having witnessed the immediate effect of this funding we can guarantee that it is a worthy cause.
The organisers Set up 5 years ago, Red Square Projects is fast becoming established in London as a company whose professional and stylish events combine the best of Russian character and spirit with high profile guest lists and stunning displays and performances. The company's aim - to promote Russian business in the English market and vice versa - is achieved through organising events that avoid the cliche- driven image of Russia we are so used to and to display instead the country's true potential to organisations open to new ideas, new people and seeking to attract a large Russian clientele.
